You see them everywhere.

So many times I (and others) have checked ratings and reviews to get other opinions on what I am looking at. Though I realize that the chances are that many of them are bloated, I still take some comfort in thinking that it has swayed my opinion, one way or another. Ratings can be a good way to determine if something is worth spending the time or money on a product. Be cautious though, as mentioned earlier, ratings can be swayed, polls can be fixed even though I know that everything on the internet is true.. right? Don't let them detour that gut feeling you have. A few things to remember.. You usually get what you pay for. If something does not feel quite right, chances are you are correct. Some people are just plain angry. Fear of criticism or retaliation can sway honest opinions.
