2023 Challenge Completed!

Another Year, another dollar...
Congratulations..... You have won the new 247 traveler Badge! Now get out there and put on some more miles!
As the uptick to the season winds down and a new year begins, we have made it through another year, somewhat unscathed. A few misguided packages and returned envelopes, all in all, not a bad season. My present to myself this year was a new Boss snow plow and I am thoroughly impressed, funded in part a casino.(not to self: win once and you will never win again, so don't try, they will not allow it.) The new snow plow, though only used a few times this year appears to be much better built than my last plow, but only time and usage will tell on that front. I hope everyone got what they wanted (and deserved) for the holidays, including some nehr-do-wells if you catch my drift. My next present to myself post holiday I got in December, as I fell for the marketing gimmick of aisle presentation at the lumberyard big box store, after all, who in the North East does not require a heated jacket (non-plow related). As we (g)usher in a new year, I wish everyone prosperity and a safe and happy new year, happy being operative due to the current climate of times in general. Currently I have no grandiose plans for upcoming year like I normally do. Like a dog that's been beat too much, simply surviving seems to be the goal at hand. Possibly something will come along in this ever-churning thing called a brain of mine but like the plow, only time will tell. Looming closer to a retirement age, many additional thoughts run through the mind regarding personal direction and sustainability. Who-da-thunk there would ever be a time where 9 to 5 was not the course of the day, but with the current economic climate this type of change may be postponed for another 20 years or so if I can survive the time.

Happy New Year 2024

May all the forces be with you! frrp...
