3D printing to scale in Blender
Having a 3d printer is an awesome thing
If you are creating something to exact scale however, it can be a daunting task since things must align.
This video will help to simplify the steps needed to create a 3D model, make it to scale and what comes out of your 3D printer is exactly the size you need it to be.
By using metrics and an inexpensive set of calipers from your local box store (so that your measurements are exact) you can create your very own products.
I have created things like screen door latches, vaccum attachments, logos and tools.. all exactly to the scale I needed.
