So I thought I had "bload up" my project.
I decided that I would change the render pipeline from Universal to High Def.
In package manager I selected HDRP and did install. Proceeded by a long install process, downloads and updates to graphics.
All in all, I did not think there would be an issue, but I was however presented with a list of "fix" options... so I clicked fix all.
After it did its thing, I went back into the project and was greeted with a non-viable version of the game in editor. ugh.
All I could see was two dark boxes in the editor. The objects appeared to still be there, but I simply could not see anything.
My initial reaction was "panic".
This seems like something too serious for just a simple revert back to universal pipeline.
Hindsight, I do believe I had both installed and possibly removing universal may have fixed the issue, but I am not going to try it again on this project.
Fix:
I uninstalled HD-RP and let it complete the install.
I was happily greeted with the project as it was before the install.
The first following build did however take quite a while. Chances are due to a large amount of graphic updates after the change.
Disaster averted...
The sun came out, birds started singing and I was back to the task at hand, adding a chainsaw particle system.
