Scan lines on Pi 7" display

Forums:

One thing I noticed on a new Buster (may not be relevant) build was that my 7" pi touchscreen (official) was showing what almost appeared to be raster scan lines. (Little line flicks appearing on the screen) The fix for this was to run sudo raspi-config on the unit. Under advanced, select overscan and select "no". This will return a message that overscan has been disabled. *Overscan can however be used to fix the black border that appears on HDMI, so if you switch over to an HDMI display, you may have to go back and set it to yes to get rid of the border.
